For bonds unmade and bridges burned,  

Are lessons harsh, and tables turned.  


Big red flags in crimson glare,  

Wave warnings strong, proceed with care.  

A heart untouched by friendly cheer,  

Breeds mistrust, and sows the fear.  


Did they push away or never try?  

A question hangs beneath the sky.  

For those who shun the light of peers,  

May hide their truths in veils of tears.  


So heed the signs, the flags that wave,  

For lonely paths the wary pave.  

But look with kindness, judge with grace,  

For every heart deserves its space.
